Aspirin (or acetylsalicylic acid) is a popular drug that is also widely used in the cosmetic field. And one of its miraculous properties is considered an effective fight against wrinkles and other signs of aging.

If you have been thinking about how to reduce wrinkles that have already appeared, we suggest learning more about acetylsalicylic acid for face care and how to use it.

How does the drug aspirin have anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects, but how does aspirin affect the skin of the face and can it get rid of wrinkles?

Penetrating deep inside, acetylsalicylic acid stops inflammatory processes, restores skin cells and starts regeneration processes. The unique properties of aspirin help cleanse and rejuvenate the skin, resulting in a reduction in wrinkles.

You can use aspirin at home by adding it to masks, peels, and face creams.

An unbalanced diet (what foods you need to eat to keep your skin beautiful and radiant, read here) or poor ecology does not have the best effect on the condition of the skin. Many skin problems caused by these unfavorable factors can be solved by creams, peels and masks with the addition of acetylsalicylic acid or aspirin.

Purification. Aspirin effectively cleanses pores and fights inflammation on the skin, so after cleansing the skin with an aspirin-based product, the face will look fresher and rashes will be less noticeable.

Regeneration. Peeling with acetylsalicylic acid in the composition will help to achieve even and clear skin. The therapeutic preparation effectively exfoliates dead skin cells and accelerates their renewal, due to which fine wrinkles practically disappear.

Whitening. Homemade cream, made with the addition of aspirin, effectively removes age spots and evens skin tone. The drug has a unique ability to penetrate deep into skin cells and “discolor” areas that have undergone pigmentation. Read about how to remove age spots here

Products with the addition of acetylsalicylic acid are effective not only in the fight against wrinkles, but are also ideal for more intense and regenerating facial care (for how to do this as cheaply as possible, read here).

Try a few recipes:

Yoghurt and honey. Grind a couple of aspirin tablets to a powdery state and add honey and natural yogurt to them – mix everything until smooth. Before applying this cream, wash thoroughly with warm water to open the pores. Apply in the evening, paying special attention to problem areas. Wait until the cream is completely dry, then rinse it off with cool water. After the procedure, wipe your face with toner and apply a moisturizer. For the best effect, repeat the procedure for three weeks.

Salt and honey. Try making a scrub with sea salt, a few aspirin tablets, and honey. To do this, simply mix a couple of tablets of the drug with a spoonful of salt and honey – this mixture will delicately cleanse and smooth the skin of the face. Apply the resulting mixture to a damp face and gently massage the skin in circular motions for five minutes. Complete the procedure with the usual care.

Acetylsalicylic acid-based products cleanse, whiten, restore and smooth the skin, but to combat deep wrinkles it is worth looking for another remedy.
