Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva won the Finlandia Trophy tournament in Espoo, Finland and set two world records at once. It is reported by the ROC. In the free program, Valieva performed three quadruple jumps at once, gaining a record 174.31 points. The total score for her performance at the tournament was 249.24 points – thus Valieva surpassed the previous world record of Alina Kostornaya at 247.59.
The second and third places in the tournament were taken by Elizaveta Tuktamysheva and Alena Kostornaya, respectively. Meanwhile, Valieva has become one of the main contenders for participation in the upcoming Winter Olympic Games from the Russian team.
