Calvin Klein teamed up with creative director Raf Simons to launch the first original fragrance in thirteen years, according to The Business of Fashion. It was named Women, and actresses Lupita Nyong’o and Saoirse Ronan became the ambassadors of the perfume. For the advertising campaign, the girls were asked to choose the women who inspire them: for example, Nyong’o named the singer Erta Kitt and the actress Katharine Hepburn, and Ronan named the actress Sissy Spacek and the singer Nina Simone. Their portraits also graced the shooting. The campaign was created by photographer Anne Collier.
Women will go on sale worldwide by the end of the summer.
