Have you tried ever cleanse your pores yourself? Have you steamed your face over a pot of hot water at the risk of getting burned? Have you taken on tweezers or maybe tried hundreds of different masks? To understand how to properly deal with black dots, you first need to figure out how they appear. Together with Sensai, we have prepared a memo on how blackheads form, which skin suffers the most and, most importantly, how to choose the right care to get rid of this problem.

How pores work

We have about 200 thousand pores on our face. Inside each of them are sebaceous glands that secrete sebum to protect the skin from the environment. Oily skin produces more sebum than dry or combination skin. The secretion of the sebaceous glands is an important component of the skin ecosystem. It is he who protects the surface of the epidermis, prevents bacteria from multiplying and has an anti-inflammatory effect. In addition to the sebaceous glands, the pores contain keratin, a protein that forms the structure of cells. When too much sebum is secreted, the time may become clogged – its contents (keratins and the secretion of the sebaceous glands) cannot come to the surface and remain inside. This is how keratotic plugs are formed.

What are black dots and why do they appear

When a pore is blocked, its contents oxidize when interacting with air and darkens – this is the black point. Clogged pores expand and become more noticeable against the background of others. Most often they appear on the nose – where the production of sebum is especially active. Also, pores can expand under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, when washing with too hot water or insufficient moisture. On oily skin, keratotic plugs appear more often than on dry skin, but with improper care or neglect of cleansing, blackheads can appear in anyone.

Do clogged pores need to be cleaned

A clogged time is stress for the skin. Sebum cannot break through the plug, accumulates inside, because of this, subcutaneous inflammation, redness and painful sensations appear. The skin becomes rough and uneven, and blackheads are too noticeable. Clogged pores can trigger closed comedones and worsen acne, especially if your skin is problematic. Agree, there is little pleasant. Therefore, it is very important to clean your pores on time and do it right.

How to choose care

Most often, anti-blackheads are produced in the format of scrubs or tightening masks. The former can contain aggressive abrasive particles and injure the skin. The second is to dry out and thereby cause a more active production of sebum. Therefore, it is important to choose ingredients that do not disturb the natural pH, dissolve the contents of the pores, and at the same time do not injure the skin. Cleansers can cope with this problem – take a closer look at Sensai Clear Gel Wash. The combination of arginine, sorbitol, mannitol and trehalose reacts with dead skin cells and removes impurities. At the same time, the composition of the product does not change the pH of the skin and does not dry it out.

Can pores be shrunk

The pore size in humans is genetically incorporated and depends on how intensively sebum is produced. Instead of trying to narrow them down with tightening masks, it’s best to choose the right cleanser and moisturizer. Moisture will relieve the sebaceous glands from the need to continuously secrete sebum, and if the pollution is washed out in time, then the pores will not be so noticeable. Skin Brilliance technology in Clear Gel Wash is an intermolecular interaction of components, due to which keratin and sebum dissolve in the pores. Thanks to the gentle action of the product after washing, the skin will not be tight, dry and reddened.

How to wash properly

The water should not be too hot or cold. Room temperature is best. Wash your hands, moisten the skin with water, then apply the gel on a damp face (you need about two to three pressings on the pump) and massage. Pay special attention to areas where the pores are enlarged. Clear Gel Wash does not foam, but you will immediately notice the effect – when the contents of the pores dissolve, the composition will change color to white. Rinse off thoroughly with water and then pat dry with a towel. Instead of hard terry fabrics, it is better to use soft and absorbent textures such as microfiber. After one use, it is better to change the towel to a clean one – bacteria multiply quickly in a humid environment.

Best of the best

Proper washing is the basis of good grooming. Sensai Clear Gel Wash not only reduces the appearance of pores thanks to Skin Brilliance technology, but also evens skin tone and soothes it. The product contains Koishimaru EX silk, which is obtained from precious Japanese material. The component, which has become the brand’s trademark, stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid. Ginseng fights inflammation, Shiso extract from Chinese basil enhances collagen production, and Kanzo extract from licorice has antioxidant properties. Add to this coriander, chamomile and lavender, which give the product a pleasant aroma. The combination of ingredients takes the usual washing to a new level, not only eliminating aesthetic problems, but also taking care of the skin as a whole.
