Shades of a peacock feather have been “exploited” by makeup artists more than once. Their color drives me crazy with overflows and does not give me peace. Therefore, from time to time I return to this topic, especially when new items are at hand – eye shadow Pupa The Dark Side of Beauty. It was with them that I decided to replace the prismatic eye shadow.
A prismatic eyeshadow would be perfect for the effect of smooth and subtle transitions that resemble the wings of a peacock. But not everyone has such. I suggest replacing them with regular pearlescent eyeshadows with one “but” – use a black eyeliner instead of a base under the shadow. It will allow you to create subtle transitions from color to color that they will look like one color of the chameleon shadows.
With the same pencil, I built the shape, and then applied shadows with a flat brush. By the way, this is one of those types of makeup in which you can do without fluffy brushes. Therefore, whoever did not have them, he can safely repeat what he saw without fear to fix it with shading of shadows.
The only thing you can go wrong with is the form. To get it right the first time, draw it with your eyes open. So you can control it in order to correct the shortcomings in time.
I always do this, although at the beginning of the journey I was sure of the opposite: the eyes are painted only when they are closed. Not sure if you are making this mistake if you are a regular reader of my blog, as I remind you of this in every post).
