My direct message literally exploded after the first publications on Instagram with geolocation “Oludeniz”. Nobody guessed that I was in Turkey.
The Oludeniz Blue Lagoon is indeed in Turkey. It is a small village on the southwest coast. It is famous for its Blue Lagoon and Belcekiz beach with white sand.
How to get to Oludeniz
It’s very simple: we take off from St. Petersburg on a charter flight (alas, there are no regular ones) to Dalaman, and then by taxi or by minibus to the hotel, which is located in the Blue Lagoon itself, this is a 10-minute drive from Oludeniz. Delov something!)
If you are looking for hotels through tour operators, do not. Most do not work with them, but they allow you to book a room online on the official website, which we did.
We chose a hotel located in the Blue Lagoon itself and booked plane tickets. Upon arrival, we took a taxi and in a few minutes met the sea.
On the first day of my vacation, I publish videos with views, which I then observe every day, fearing to get used to them.
And later I understand that it is impossible to get used to the Blue Lagoon. Its color changes depending on the position of the sun, so it looks different every time.
And for those who are afraid of cold water, there is no water here already at the end of June. If it is still cool in Oludeniz, then fresh milk in the Blue Lagoon.
Sometimes it’s so steamy that it gets unbearably hot and we float to the peninsula.
To do this, we take a waterproof backpack, a camera and cool down wisely – we make magazine photos against the backdrop of picturesque rocks.
Beauty is everywhere, as long as you swim and don’t be afraid to go beyond the buoys. And it is worth swimming out at least for the sake of communicating with turtles.
The first meeting caused so many emotions that I wanted to tell everyone on the shore about it. And when I got into the frame in which I stroke a turtle on the shell, then send the video to all my friends.
Later it turned out that I would get to know the whole family of the turtle: with the male and their cubs.
In addition to turtles, there are many other animals here. The nastiest are sea cucumbers. Disgusting in appearance (black and elongated) lie at the bottom and multiply. And the fact that their presence is an indicator of very clean water – very few people know.
The most pleasant are the fish. This, of course, is not Egypt, but very good for Turkey.
Of all the living creatures, I remember the moon jellyfish.
It is completely safe for a person that you can pick it up and examine it closer. I did so. They are food for turtles. I have seen more than once how deftly they caught them and chewed them for a long time. Some kind of “In the world of animals”, I thought every time I met them. Therefore, it is very easy to find them: where there are most jellyfish – wait for turtles.
The opportunity to shoot not only them, but also yourself is not missed. So I post one photo after another, collecting your likes!
In the evenings, I change my swimsuit for an evening outfit.
As a result, there are more photos than I thought. Therefore, in the tenth photo, I get tired of coming up with a description and turn to discussing swimsuits, then talking about the pool and those who “live” there.
In general, check out my Instagram. I will be pleased.
And here I will publish a couple more posts with our movements in Turkey. You don’t mind?)
