Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette is a novelty that was not expected. She puzzled many with her appearance. Why do we need Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics, when there is Urban decay naked basics?
But most of all, this question alarmed those who did not manage to buy the first one. They don’t know which palette to choose, how does one differ from the other, and most importantly – which one is better?
I confess, on the day the second version of Naked appeared, I was inundated with questions: “Ol, can you advise which one to choose: Naked 2 Basics or Naked Basics? Help! ”. Let’s figure it out together.
The design of the second palette is absolutely identical to the first one.
From the same plastic material, with the same refill dimensions, but only in different shades.
When I examined both palettes on the Internet in search of differences, I did not find high-quality photos with accurate color reproduction. Therefore, I decided to take on this responsibility: to show you the difference in shades that I saw.
So here’s the Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette.
And here is the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette.
Agree that they are different.
Naked Basics with warm shades,
and Naked 2 Basics with cold ones.
Let’s take a closer look at them, where the first three shades are from the Naked palette (left), and the next three are from Naked 2 (right).
And the last three shades …
As for the quality, both palettes are well pigmented, they crumble when applied (but not as catastrophic as the shadows Sleek makeup), excellent stew.
Resistance depends on base under the shade… I am using Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
And finally, comparative swatch of both palettes:

Output: now I can answer the question: “Which one to choose: Naked 2 Basics or Naked Basics?” …
I choose the second version of the palette. The reason is simple: a cold palette is rare. Increasingly, I come across palettes of eyeshadows with warm colors and a complete absence of cold ones. And they are the most popular not only in client’s makeup, but also in mine.
Which one would you choose: warm or cold?
