Glycerin face soap – reviews after a month of use

glycerin face soap

Few would dare to make a statement: “My beauty products include a glycerin toilet soap for the face. After all, the postscript “dressing” evokes specific associations that are clearly not associated with clean and beautiful skin, as in advertising. But this is exactly what it becomes after several months of use!

We are so accustomed to unusual product descriptions and beautiful promises of manufacturers that such a tool can alienate us once and for all.

Therefore, when I stood at the stand with soap and carefully studied the description, not everyone appreciated my enthusiasm and interest in such a product as glycerin face soap.

What is the difference between glycerin soap and ordinary soap

Since glycerin is a natural moisturizer made from vegetable oil or animal fats, it does not dry out the skin.

Those who are familiar with the feeling of tightness of the skin after each wash will understand me. But with the use of this soap, nothing like this happens! For a month I washed my face with glycerin soap without any consequences.

What You Didn’t Know About Glycerin Soap

Another feature of the soap is that it does not contain synthetic ingredients. And this is a green light for those with sensitive skin that is sometimes too irritable.

Sometimes it is enough for me to use cleansing milk to provoke the skin to appear red. Therefore, I was surprised that the soap did not cause such a reaction, despite the fact that it is still soap.

This is perhaps one, but quite a serious difference from ordinary soap, which can dry out the skin.

Well, the last arguments in favor of glycerin soap – it allows you to deeply cleanse pores, eliminate skin flaking, cope with acne, dermatitis, eczema, etc.

If we talk about the benefits of makeup soap, then it is suitable for styling the eyebrows, which I talked about in detail here.

How often can you use glycerin face soap?

Do not abuse it. This can have the opposite effect. It is important to look at the reaction of the skin. As soon as you notice irritation, dryness or increased sensitivity, it is worth reducing the frequency of use.

I washed my face with glycerin soap 3 times a week before going to bed, after which I applied a nourishing moisturizer. I do not recommend washing your face with soap twice a day, regardless of your skin type.
