Those who know The Balm brand have heard about their cult product – The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter. Why they loved this highlighter so much and why it became so popular, I’ll tell you now.
I repeat that connoisseurs of “high”, namely expensive luxury packaging, will suffer at the sight of ordinary plastic and a bright, slightly childish, cover. This is the hallmark of all The Balm cosmetics.
I really like the design of The Balm brand, as I am for individuality.
The color of the highlighter is beige, which means that it is versatile. Absolutely!
There is neither pink nor any other undertone in it.
Now you will see for yourself.
I applied it with a fan brush Hakuhodo J4004 Fan Brush, barely touching the cheekbones.
I do not recommend using dense bristle brushes as the product is very pigmented. You will shine indecently, as in the photo below.
The highlighter can be applied not only to the cheekbones, but also to the central part of the forehead, the edge of the nose, upper eyelids, the area in the center of the lips and to the tip of the chin when it comes to makeup for a photo shoot.
For clarity, I decided to show you as close as possible “before” and “after”.
Agree that the result is too obvious to doubt the presence of a highlighter ?!
Now about the qualities of The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer:
- excellent durability
- neutral shade
- not dusty
- fine grinding
- no large shimmer
Output: this is a really cool product, as my grandmother would say: “Solid!”. It has all the qualities that a highlighter should have, and you could see for yourself.
