In this article, we will look at how to build up nails with gel, but instead of a shape, we will use fiberglass.

We need:

Let’s start with preparation. Move the cuticle back using orange stick or pusher… After that, it is necessary to shorten the length and remove the old material. For this extension technology, it is not at all necessary to remove the nails under the root, but if there are cracks or the nail is broken, then there is no point in leaving the length.

We prepare fiberglass. We make the tracks with a regular fiberglass base, and then simply cut into small pieces, depending on the desired length of the nails.

Apply dehydrator, acid-free primer and a thin layer of base. Cure for 30 seconds. We take a modeling gel of medium consistency, apply it only to the tip of the nail.

Having previously rolled out the fiberglass blank with an orange stick, so that everything is smooth and laid out on the nail.

The most important thing here is that the width coincides, that is, the strips need to be glued so that they touch the widest parts of the nail plates. This is especially true for nails that are in the shape of a trapezoid. EAnother important point, when you sink the fibers, it shouldn’t turn out so that somewhere they have stood on top of each other – they simply will not be saturated. Of course, you can add material on top again, but then the coating will come out thick.

Before fully polymerizing, dry for 10 seconds and cut off the excess length.

And now we coat everything on top with a thin layer of the same camouflage gel. The fibers themselves are so thin that you might not notice how several fibers are stretched out. This means that they were not completely impregnated and, accordingly, were not fixed in the coating. Therefore, it is better to extract them immediately. We get rid of excess fibers and cure for 30 seconds.

And now we spread a drop of gel leveling the surface.

Be sure to check the nail from different angles, because everything is fine from above, but when viewed from the side, there is no apex at all. Cure for 15 seconds. We put on the clamp and dry for the remaining minute.

NScheck to make an arch. If it is not there, then you put the clamp too late. We also coat it from the inside, since we will not cut the fiber from this side, it simply does not make sense. EIf you want, you can squeeze again a little. And you can also immediately cover the inside with a top without a sticky layer.

If a small mark remains from the clamp, this happens, the surface just needs to be sanded so that the surface becomes completely smooth. The inside can also be slightly sanded so that there are no sharp corners. Shake off the dust or send the client to wash their hands. And now you can apply color or, in our case, it will be a top without a sticky layer and the nails are almost ready.

Here is the result.
